Q: When and where is the reunion?
A: The Dawson Family Reunion will take place August 15-17, 2025, in Detroit, Michigan. The host hotel is Holiday Inn Express & Suites (Belleville).

Q: How do I book my hotel room?
A: A room block has been reserved under the name Sonji Johnson at Holiday Inn Express & Suites (Belleville). To reserve your room, call the hotel directly and book under your name with your credit card. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from Detroit Wayne Airport (DTW).

Payments & Registration

Q: What is the cost to attend?
A:The total cost is $150 per person, which includes activities, meals, and reunion t-shirt. The total cost is $75 per child aged 11+ years old. Children 10 years old and under are free.

Q: What are the payment deadlines?

A: Initial deposit: $50 per person due by March 15, 2025

A: Final balance: $100 per person due by June 30, 2025

Activities & Schedule

Q: What activities are planned for the weekend?
A: We have a fun-filled weekend planned, including an all white welcome party, a family luncheon, an after party, and a farewell breakfast. A full itinerary will be shared closer to the event.

Q: What should I wear?
A: The dress code is casual and comfortable for most events.

A: All DFR t-shirts have been placed and the group order form is now closed. 

Travel & Accommodations

Q: What is the nearest airport?
A: The nearest airport is Detroit Wayne Airport (DTW). The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport.

Q: Will transportation be provided?
A: The All White Welcome Party will take place on-site at the host hotel, and for the Saturday luncheon, feel free to catch a ride with a family member!
